“When it rains, it pours…as the old adage goes. We had a termite inspection last year; no termites, but discovered mold in the crawl space after a wet summer. As a realtor, we have an active list of trades and home repair companies. Based on past experiences with our other realtors, Remtech Environmental jumped to the top of the remediation list. They were prompt, professional and detail oriented. They knew having a mold problem was not a condition envied by any homeowner. Their principles and estimators were very sympathetic and walked us through the process of how they safely alleviated a potentially dangerous situation. The Remtech Environmental crews were on time, did exactly as outlined in the proposal and finished ahead of schedule. We were pleased with the result. Five months later, it “poured.” A six-month-old dishwasher failed, leaking for weeks unseen into our subfloor, cabinets walls and yes, the crawl space again. We were facing a potentially worse problem with this fiasco, but Remtech Environmental came through on several fronts. They not only addressed the mold in the kitchen area and crawl space (again) but aligned us with an excellent general contractor. This GC specialized in insurance and damage repairs. The two companies worked hand-in-glove with each other and our insurance adjuster. It was not an easy experience having the entire kitchen torn-up, but I believe without Remtech Environmental’ s guidance and care for the overall process, it would have been much worse. I have “gold-starred” Remtech Environmental on our realtors’ list of preferred vendors and they continue to deliver for clients throughout the triangle.”
